GUSA Games

Tennis

The Female Team led by Abigail Opoku Mensah won both 2012 and 2010 GUSA Games held in Kumasi and Legon respectively. The male team, after the departure of Mensford Owusu continues to find ways to overcome the current GUSA Champions University of Education, Winneba (UEW) who continues to dominate the Tennis competition. 

 

Table Tennis

Part of the Inter-halls games, Table tennis is played at the Mensah Sarbah Dinning Hall. The team made up of students like Naomi Tetteh, Janet Abdallah put up a good display in the GUSA 2012 hosted in Kumasi. Their performance at GUSA in the past few years is as follows:

• GUSA 2012 at KNUST, Kumasi: Runners up to UCC (3 Silver, 2 Bronze)
• GUSA 2010 at the University of Ghana:  GUSA Champion, they won 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze

 

Soccer

Football (Male/Female) Talk about discipline, commitment, hard work, enthusiasm, excellence in game play, and the university of Ghana Football team stands tall.

Handball

The University of Ghana Handball Team is a very dynamic team which has been growing from strength to strength over the years. The team participated both at local and international level and won medals.
