The University of Ghana Debate Society will participate in the World Universities Debate Championship for 2022 being hosted virtually by the Open Communication Organization, Belgrade, Serbia. The Championship is scheduled for 19^th to 27^th July, 2022.

The UG Relay Team made up of Saminu Abdul-Rasheed, James Dadzie and Solomon Kweku Hammond and Barnabas Agerh (University for Development Studies, Tamale) finished second in 4x100m with a time of 39.60 seconds.

The University of Ghana Track and Field Team will participate in the Ghana Athletics Association Invitational Championship at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday, 30^th June and Friday, 1^st July, 2022.

The University of Ghana Male Basketball Team was celebrated at the maiden Basketball Honours 2022 organised by Rite Sports Limited for their laurels and consistency in national and international competitions.

The University of Ghana’s (UG) young team has conquered Africa again at the 10^th Federation of African Universities Sports (FASU) Games held from 6^th to 10^th June, 2022 at the Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya.

The Ghana High Commission to Kenya has paid a courtesy call to the three Ghanaian Universities participating at the 10^th Federation of African Universities Sports (FASU) Games being hosted by Kenyatta University.
